Pitted as a traveler's watch, it's sensibly sized at 39mm, 9,45 deep and 47 lug to lug. The specifications are cool: a case made of 904L (Rolex) steel, rhodium plated hands and an ETA 2892 movement with blued screws and finely crafted rotor, though not on display. As there is no lume on these watches, this blue model may offer better legibility then the black version.
Somebody or their uncle, lend me 1690 CHF so I can " Be Milus Ice Blue" please :)

I guess I'm late to post this here, fifty percent of the batch has been preordered already. Available early 2021.
That is beautiful. I really like your Milus, and my wife even said that it really looks like a special watch...sort of reminds you of something but also unique. On the other hand, I have a thing for blue. :?

Fortunately, I enjoy looking as much as buying.

That's awesome looking! Made me want to see if they have a black dial version with silver indices.

They do! But they had to put "automatic" in red :(

It would be really great if watch designers would take some visual design courses. Red stands out as a color. So it calls attention to itself. The design would be much better if automatic was also in the same color as the other text, and the date wheel were black and white or white and black.

My initial reaction to this black edition was the same as yours, why the red fonts!? However, researching this a bit led me to the fact that the date is actually in red on the original snow star from the forties. So the red is part of the watch's history, and I guess they decided to honor that, and create some balance by having it come back at the six o' clock position.

Timex recently released a new collab with Nigel Cabourn.

"This watch draws inspiration from timepieces worn by Royal Navy captains on Arctic convoys in the North Sea during WWII, with a specially finished case made to emulate sea-air corrosion, a nod to the weathered look of military boats and seafaring equipment of the era. Featuring a white military-style dial with red and black markings, and presented with two straps in a military-style carrying case, this collaboration delivers a real tribute to wartime functionality as well as rugged, ageless style."

"The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is a fantastic, all-rounder. With its lumed hands, big screw-down crown, screw-down case back, 50-meter water resistance, and domed sapphire crystal, it is a surprisingly tough, go-anywhere, do-anything kind of watch."

I think it looks very nice. Personally, for a supposedly GADA, my preference is min 10ATM but it's not a biggie, and I think the form factor might look better in 38mm but alas, 40mm would have a bigger potential customer base.

Lovingly the case/dial color combination. Pretty unusual, but I think it works really well.

Sadly, it appears that no Captain Cook bronze is offered in 37mm, and not the Burgundy Bronze in particular. It's a shame that they're not offering more for the more authentic 37 mm size. smh

You might well be. At least you are the first one to comment on it. ;-)
I have always liked Darwin OS, not well known yet included in so many devices to some degree.

To get back on topic here is an interesting new jump hour watch from Yema:
https://en.yema.com/collections/digidisc

It is using Yema's new YEMA2000 in-house caliber, has a 316L stainless steel case, screw down signed crown and screw down caseback.

Dimensions are also very "retro":
Diameter: 36 mm
Thickness: 10,65 mm
Lug: 24 mm

Available in black and brown for $590 or 590 €.
