Bell & Ross keeps adding more models to their BR 03-93 diver line-up. Most recently there has been a bronze case, then a PVD black case with full lume dial, and now a steel case with an orange dial. This one is limited to 250 pieces and it ain't cheap but I think this color looks great on a dive watch.

I have the wrist real estate to pull one of those off. Now if I could only find one at 70% off... :D

That B&R looks fantastic. Only sold through their boutiques or from their website it seems. Anyone know if B&R boutiques ever give discounts, or is it MSRP only?

I'm not sure why they are not yet on any Seiko websites (that I know of). Maybe later this week. I'll try to remember to update if I see alternative reference numbers for these. Specs are the same as other new Sumos......45mm with the 6R35 automatic movement and ISO 6425 certification. The WatchPro article below is calling them Seiko Prospex "Built for the Ice Diver" watches. It appears the full retail price will be $900. Pics from Carat & Co.

I really like the blue version. Do hope River Edge will carry as these are reportedly U.S.A. exclusive models.

The only brand I've seen that actually executed the 4.5 date window properly. Others have tried (Sinn, Glycine) but they end up showing the datewheel edges or look like an afterthought.

"New" Orient divers. Just the saturation diver jr. without the power reserve. 43mm, 22mm lugs, blah blah blah.

Personally I'd just go for the PR version since it's already a premium movement.

Vario has teased their upcoming Empire II lineup.

Image

These 4 variants will be the final lineup for Empire II.

Please help Vario with this 1 question survey so they can gauge the limited numbers to make for each. There will be 100 handwound + 200 automatic pieces available among the 4 variants and they will be launching sometime next year.

Link to survey:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... Q/viewform

In their email, Ivan said he only managed to take some time to roughly lay the hands on the dial and put a case on to take a photo of the new Empire II dial to show how they will look. "I'm happy with the way they turned out except for the Grey Tux. I'll make the concentric circles in the middle section slightly more prominent."

That green color definitely isn't for me but I can't think of too many other dials with that color.......something unique. I like the silver and the pink dials more.

I was slacking last year when the first MACH 1 models from Bangalore Watch Company came out and I never got around to posting them. It's a watch out of India that pays tribute to the MiG 21 Type 77, an iconic fighter-plane that served the Indian Air Force for five decades. Now there is a pre-order for two new variants with an Officer's Blue dial.

Armitron has a new line of retro-themed digital and ana-digi watches featuring stainless steel cases, a departure from the chrome-clad resin cases that Timex, Casio and others like to use.

Reasonable prices, and they look pretty good, too.

FIRST20 at checkout gives 20% off, and shipping is free with orders of $50 or more.
