Available for preorder in a couple weeks:
I will be running pre-orders through alkinwatches.com this time around, with the first 50 watches starting at only £325 / $400 USD, so be quick!
Specs, though I suspect the lug width here is a typo:

Case: 316L stainless steel
Movement: Miyota 9039
Lume: Super-LumiNova BGW9
Lens: Sapphire with AR coating
Water resistance: 300m / 30ATM
Bracelet: Brushed SS Bracelet
Weight: 165 Grams
Crowns: 3.5 x 6.5mm screw-down
Dimensions: 41 x 48mm
Lug width: 28mm
Thickness: 12.8mm
Bezel: Internal Bi-directional
Case Finish: Brushed SS
Warranty: 2 year

Here is a video review, which I have not watched. It might answer the lug width question.
I'm so tempted by this. But I prefer to have a date on my watches. Also deliberating between this and the Orient King Diver. Still can't make up my mind.Image

The big differences, apart from date:
- Size (41mm vs 44mm)
- History (if that's important)
- Modern vs. classic design
- Sapphire vs. mineral
- unidirectional vs. bidirectional winding movement (if you're concerned about the "feel" like me)

I think if you're committing to a compressor-style watch, it's probably better to spend a little more money and get one that has a reliable internal bezel system. Many I've owned in the past that are below 1000 have had extremely disappointing tolerances and internal bezels always provided issues after some time of ownership. Reviews are critical for sure.

2020 New and Upcoming Releases!

I want to like it but there are just too many weird design cues about their recent releases that makes me irritated... Like they're trying to overcompensate the negative space and overcomplicate simplistic designs.

I'm genuinely unsure who enjoys having such a large gap between the case and strap aesthetically (and please don't get me started on Nomos).

I’m a fan of the blue 40mm 3-hand and the blue chrono, may consider getting one in a coupla years used or discounted. Just wish it didn’t seem like the half-a’d the date on the 3-hand — color match, or at least put a border around the window to coordinate with the applied numerals.

The chopped off 3 on the larger models is [emoji2961]

Like that blue Alkin, too.

Thanks for listing them. I think the biggest factor for me is the modern and traditional look. If only I could get them both. Heh.

The gap between the strap and the case is a bit odd - not sure why the gap is so apparent.

This is looks great, but what's the point of lumed markers without lumed hands?
Just to let consumers know they have the "balls" to do it.

Zelos Mirage, a skeleton tourbillon: https://zeloswatches.com/collections/mirage-tourbillon

Specs:
Case Size : 41mm Diameter, 45mm Lug to Lug
Thickness : 9.5mm without crystal
Strap Width: 20mm
Water Resistance: 50m
Movement: LJP 7814
Power Reserve: 60 Hours
Frequency: 28800 bhp
Crystal: Sapphire (Front, dial, back)
Limited Edition: 10 pieces in total

The flying tourbillion is manufactured by La Joux-Perret.

You get the Zelos wood box, watch roll, and a leather briefcase with each watch. One horween and one genuine crocodile strap is included.

Maybe the most impressive thing: These are already built and ready to ship. Orders start June 9 @ 10p.m. Singapore time and will ship within 1 week.

Comes in damascus titanuim yellow, blue, and layered copper and nickel (called Mokume Gane):

Blue Damascus titanium:

Layered copper and nickel. Apparently the copper will patina over time:

Also comes in plain titanuim with either PVD or silver mainplates:

10 pieces total across all colorways.

Cost is $11,900 for the damascus/layered models or $10,900 for the titanium.

Here's the copy from the website on the case materials:
Timascus is Titanium Damascus, an alloy formed by combining two different titanium alloys, resulting in an extremely strong and light material boasting wood-grain patterns. It is a very visually striking material that never fails to capture the attention of those who lay eyes on it.

It is worth noting that Zelos is the first watch manufacturer in the world to create a watch utilizing the Ti-Damascus material. The Ti-damascus material used is comprised of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium, repeatedly folded and forged to create a material strong than the sum of it’s parts. To achieve its stunning colors, each piece is torched personally by Elshan.

Yellow Titanium Damascus is achieved with a lower temperature of roughly 350 Celcius while Blued Titanium Damascus is achieved at approximately 500 Celcius.

Lastly, we have Mokume-gane: A similar metalworking procedure of Japanese origins, utilizing copper and nickel silver to produce a similar wood-grain pattern. One difference is that Mokume-gane will patina, with the copper portions eventually aging to a beautiful dark red, providing a contrast against the nickel silver.
I stopped by the page this morning, and all versions are sold out. So I guess there was enough interest.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Yup, I like those. I just might have to pick up one or two.

One of my favorite Sintra quotes crosses over in to another passion of mine, cars:

"You buy a Ferrari when you want to be somebody. You buy a Lamborghini when you are somebody."

I believe he uttered it around the time he bought a 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400S #4407. Miura is the car that birthed mid/rear engined V12 supercar, and is arguably one of the most beautiful ever made.

Sinatra's from a Christies auction listing:

I don't know who Bulova hired recently, but they're making quite an impact with some great looking releases over the past couple of years.

Borealis will release version 2 of the Cascais end of this year:

https://www.borealiswatch.com/store/Bor ... 472f55b966

From their website:

"Following up success of the first Borealis Cascais edition we have redesigned it from the ground up paying tribute to the Portuguese Calçada (Portuguese Cobblestone).

The Borealis Cascais V2 Automatic Diver Watch is now slimmer and more comfortable with a new bracelet and a buckle with a total of 6 adjustment holes..
It is powered by a Miyota 9015 automatic movement that features 24 jewels, 28'800 vibrations per hour, 4 Hz , hacking seconds and a power reserve of 42 hours. It is a very reliable, sturdy movement that proved to be an alternative to the Swiss Made ETA 2824-2.

The Borealis Cascais V2 features the ultimate grade of BGW9 produced by RC Tritec providing a strong and lasting lume.

The Borealis Cascais V2 collection is also complimented with a lumed ceramic bezel or hardened stainless steel insert (depending on version), double domed sapphire glass, 316L stainless steel case and a high quality 316L stainless steel bracelet with a clasp featuring 6 micro adjustments.

Case Size: 41mm (including bezel) x 47.50mm
Screwed down crown
Double Domed Sapphire Crystal with A/R coating inside
120 clicks unidirectional blue ceramic bezel with Super Lume BGW9 lume applied to indexes
Miyota 9015 Automatic Movement
316L Stainless Steel Case
Lug Width: 20.00 mm
Water Resistance: 300 meters
Case height: 12.30 mm
316L Stainless steel bracelet featuring a clasp with six micro adjustments.
Superluminous BGW9 Superluminova applied to dial, watch hands and bezel
Cathedral hands or Pencil Hands depending on variant (hours, minute, seconds)
Screwed Case Back with engraved mermaid
12 months warranty"

I am still deciding if I like it better than V1. Certainly different.

It's one of my favourite brands...and I have been looking to get a GMT (I think that's what it looks like). Can't wait!
This has been revealed. It's not a GMT! But pointer date with an interesting complication:
