As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

2020 New and Upcoming Releases!

Post by yinzburgher »

This thread is for posting about watches that have recently been introduced or will be in the near future. It is a continuation of the 2019 thread HERE. If you see a new or upcoming watch, this is the place to post about it. It doesn't matter whether it's a huge luxury brand like Rolex or a microbrand coming out with its very first watch. Pre-orders and watches from Kickstarter and Indiegogo can be posted here as well as in the pre-order/crowdfunded subforum. If you feel the new release is also a bargain/deal, feel free to post it here and in the HUISABH thread. Basically just post about any new or upcoming release that you are excited about or you think others might be excited about. Please try to include some basic information about the watch. That might include the brand, model, dimensions, specifications, price, release date, links to the brand website, articles, Instagram, press releases, and of course photos. The more information, the better. Also feel free to add more information, ask questions, clarify, discuss, and comment on other members' posts. Many thanks and best wishes for a great year!

On design only, this is the Speedy I'd buy -- love the stepped dial. But $13 grand is just crazy.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Yeah same here, I saw it this morning and thought it was nice. Then I saw the price and said nope.

A number of new Seiko Prospex divers are making their ways to online shops. I'll likely miss some here so feel free to add to this. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there will be alternative reference number but I'm just listing the only ones I've found. All will presumably have all the same specs as their most recent brethren.

SO beautiful! Seiko dials are incredible. If only they could get second hand alignment right...honestly one of the biggest reasons I have not bought one.

At first glance, the only ones of those I like are the blue wave dial Turtle and Monster as well as the Frost Baby Tuna.

Was watching the latest Doc's House Calls video from docvail and was introduced to the Roebuck Watch Co.

https://roebuckwatchco.com/

This is a new brand out of Texas (by way of New Zealand), that bypassed the Kickstarter and preorder process and funded the production of his debut model himself. Because of that, they're on sale now and ready for immediate shipping.

The first Roebuck collection is for the Diviso, which is Italian for split, which is a custom designed, high quality timepiece, featuring a rotating inner bezel to use as a timer.

Price of the Diviso is $600.

Comes in four colorways:

- Dimensions: 42mm diameter, 49.77mm lug to lug, 11.97mm thick

- Water resistance: 10ATM / 100m / 330ft
- Highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating to the underside

- Applied numerals and indices
- Super-Luminova BG-W9 lume to hands and markers
- Textured two-color dial

Far and wide I will find 'em and I ride 'em
Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

So these were apparently released in 2019, but I searched that thread and it looks like they weren't mentioned. Timefactors releases two new Smiths Everest models, both 36mm with a white face.

The PRS-25W
Image

and the Everest Expedition white dial:

Image

Both watches use a Miyota 9039, and feature drilled lugs, sapphire crystal, solid end links, and 100 meter WR.

The PRS-25W is available now for about $425 (£325).

The Expedition is sold out but starting THIS SUNDAY at 9 a.m. eastern (1400 UK time), they are taking orders for another round.

https://www.timefactors.com/closed1.htm

Note Eddie says he's only taking as many orders as he can fill next week, so there may not be many slots available.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

New Islanders from Mark at Long Island Watch. Turtle-esque divers. $350 for the DLC one pictured. $300 for the other two. Similar specs to the other islander watches: Seiko NH36, sapphire crystal, lumed ceramic bezel, drilled lugs.

Thanks for posting about these. They look pretty interesting to me. I wish they were smaller. It even looks big in a fit pic on their site:
