Citizen NY0040-09W question

Post by pdsf »

Looking to get other owners' input and experience here. My NY0040-09W does well on the wrist. It's around -2s/day. Handwinding it charges it effectively.

However, it would not charge when I use a winder! I have tried either or both directions and experienced with different cycles. None of them worked. Is that odd?

Your watch movement only winds in one direction, other watch movements wind in both, also the winder is meant to maintain the wind not wind up the watch.

Thanks! I have tried either direction as well, assuming that it might wind in one direction (cf 9015). I always get confused about which direction so I tried both. :? I think it failed to maintain a charge but I could be wrong. Let me go back and do more testing!!

Thanks again!
