Two new to me watches, though I wish they were acquired under happier circumstances. My grandmother passed away recently and I found these two pieces in her jewelry box. Based on the size of the expanding bracelet and an old photo, the 38mm Timex was worn by my grandfather in the 1990s. The bezel reminds me of a Royal Oak, and being a Timex that couldn't be more appropriate. My grandparents were people who never had much, but enjoyed every bit of what they did have. A new battery is on the way.

Then there's this Elgin pocket watch. I can't get more information on it without taking the movement out, which I'm afraid to do with my limited skill. The hands look very delicate. There might have been an engraving on the back, long worn away. The back is also slightly dented. Once quarantines and social distancing are a thing of the past, I'll take it to a watchmaker for a revival.

If anyone has more information on either, I'd love to hear it.
