Love this dial. The biggest letdown was the bracelet, not-my-taste stubby links. Doesn't help that the previous owner misrepresented the condition of the watch, deformed the endlinks, resulting in 1 loose side thereby scratching the case. Plus, deformed the clasp. Still good to use. Just a little looser. Mainly cosmetic.

I switched it out immediately to this turquoise Pueblo strap by Nomad. Bliss....Image

Love the watch! I would happily wear a Milgauss, and I'm glad you like it. What I don't love is that you had to charm this dude and drop high 4 (or low 5) figures just to hope he liked you enough to call you when a watch you "actually want" comes in. It's like the AD system was designed to mimic the auto dealer model with artificial scarcity thrown in! Anyway, sorry for the mini-rant.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I don't know about the whole AD system, but that is definitely how Rolex operates.

Shoutout to whoagorgeous who hit a couple of Nordstrom Rack and scooped a bunch of bargain basement priced Timexs and offered them at cost to members.

Charlie Brown arrived today!

New offering from Vero in Portland: The Open Water series.

Intended to be a 40mm GADA, it's sporty and fits in nicely with our PNW lifestyle.

I chose the North Coast model. The design is all theirs and is assembled here.

Just my $0.02 USD as always.

Yeah, I am playing around with my cameras and plan to take more shots of it in the process.

I visited their office intending to buy the Crown Point model, but left with this. I nearly left with both. :D

I especially like this thin, flexible bracelet. The 60-click bezel sports double lume dots from 0 to 15, which I have never seen.
Just my $0.02 USD as always.

Cool! If I were still living in Eugene, I would have given them a visit as well. Did one model seem to wear slightly smaller than the other? Thinking about if the differences in their design elements would have that effect.

Edit: doh, given the thread, of course it's your watch pic haha

The DLC bezel and dark, dark blue dial on the Crown Point are great, and for that reason it may wear differently. I didn't try it on.

This one simply added something to my collection, whereas the Crown Point wouldn't. The lug curvature and the crown guard profile appeal to be. I told him that, next to my Planet Ocean, his lug design was the best in my stable.

Not bad for $25, (actually $5 since I sold the new leather band for $20 and replaced with the one I like better) also I did the obligatory secondectomy. And the engraving was free.Image
