As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I am thrilled. I love it.

I had a moment of clarity about a month ago and knew it was time for me to make this move. I realized that all I really had to do was sell a few pieces that I wasn't really bonding with to put in within reach.

This was absolutely the right decision.

Side note: Although admittedly esoteric, I feel the need to share that I have named him Jack Lambert, because he's number 58 and wears black and gold. IYKYK.

I now realize I've never named any of my watches.
I've named all my cars, but not my watches.

Thanks!! I had been watching closely using Watch Recon for one that hit that sweet spot of condition, age and price. Luckily it only took a week or two for the right one to come up on Reddit.

I only have two that have nicknames. The other being my Divers 65 which my wife named the “Chuck Oris” [emoji38]

I think that's what he was going for!

This friend of mine has named all my watches except two (Farer WorldTimer - Feargal; Helm Komodo - Otto - I named those :) )

Congrats, that watch has been on my "next to acquire" list for quite a few months now (I don't count past or future G-Shock squares in that list ;) ).

Is this new, or just new you to you?

Told myself over a year ago I was mostly done with this hobby, and i'd guess it's been about that long since I've visited MoT. This watch ticks more boxes for me than I can name. Very happy.

There's a lot more to this community than just buying/selling watches. :) Come by more often.

Understood. My willpower is typically weak enough that I don't always benefit from folks who may be enablers to my many hobbies I've had to put on "pause." That's a "me" issue I'm managing. :)
