Got a new cheap strap to try. A bit shorter than optimal, and it's too tight at the lugs so I'll likely trim it there. It did say 18mm on the site, not 16mm, but it was pictured in G-Shocks that use 16mm spring bars, so wasn't sure what would come.

Also a better buckle than was shown in the pics on AE.

Comfortable so far.

Nice. I got the brown of that series (last page). I thought I'd like the green better, but had a couple of greens gshocks so went brown.

Looks like the green's on sale again at Amazon. Will post in "bargins".

That the Asics one? I almost bought that one when it was in the Casio Outlet. Looks nice. Also positive display is a win for me :)

Yes sir. Full kit used was 70 bucks shipped. Hard to pass up. The positive dial was a negative for me, but the white dial over rode it. See what I did there 🤣

I figured :)

You need to get a GBX100 or GBD200 if you don't have one. Those negative MIP displays are nice.

Cool new Pro Trek. ABC with solar and multiband. A bit of Bell & Ross design with the square case. Made out of "biomass plastics" with a metal bezel. Wouldn't surprise me if boimas plastic is basically the same thing as Swatch is calling Bioceramic in the Moonswatch. I th ink they've already used it on some of the updated round watches.

I like the way the five buttons are incorporated into the shape of the watch.

I would nickname this as "TrinTrek" since B&R copied the Trintec design language. Ha

Very cool -- I bet they'll have trouble unloading the old models w/o big discounts. The faceted bezel recalls this illuminator to mind:

Cool-looking update - thanks for sharing! Did not dig into the specs; are these solar?
