What Watch Are You Lusting For?

Post by MoT »

Currently, for me it's the Junghans Meister Pilot Chronoscope. I can't find a single thing about this watch I dislike.

What watch(es) are you currently in a fever about?

Is there one, or two or five that stand out above all others?

Very cool watch. 👆 I think someone here owns one but I can't recall who at the moment. For me there are many. But the Longines Heritage Classic Sector Dial is probably at the very top of my list. It probably won't happen soon, but I do believe it will happen.

I don't like external bezels, not generally enticed by an automatic GMT movement, and 43mm is larger than I'm comfortable wearing.
But given all that, I want this Tissot Heritage Navigator 160th Anniversary COSC so, so much.

Have you tried one on? This was on my list but felt "insubstantial" on the wrist. I don't know what I expected but I found it underwhelming. I still really love the whole design though, so might have to take another look.

I have not. Once things open up I may have to find an AD near me that carries them so I can try it. If I end up liking it, I'll probably then buy it through riveredgejewelers.

For me it's the 2018 blue Omega Seamaster. Or really any blue Seamaster. That's one of the watches I've liked even before I was into watches. Plus I'm a massive bond fan and have been telling myself I will buy one eventually. One day it will be mine.

Well, my tastes seem to be ever-changing. My lust for an explorer I has been replaced by the Rhodium OP, and the one that I always seem to come back to is the Skyfall AT. A little downsizing of the collection could fund one of these, but just not ready for that.

And a dumb as it sounds, I kinda don't want the stigma that comes with Rolex ownership. On the other hand, I buy watches for me and nobody else. Also, nobody pays attention to watches anyways. Enough with the rant, on to the pics!

Forever the Rolex Pepsi. Just a lot of historical presence and the only Rolex that has pushed me to actually acquire in the future.
I have plans to talk to my local AD about it if I get into my grad school... or the white gold version once I'm finished school.
