Calling all LCD watch experts
Just received my Timex T80 x Pacman via reshipper from the states....and saw this. Never seen an LCD where the numbers appear too low like this. Anyone have LCD watch experience with something like this? Is it correctable?
Re: Calling all LCD watch experts
Change battery would be my first suggestion.

Also saw this review on Timex.ca, so maybe try the reset button?
This watch is great! I really like the weight, the design on the outside, and the fact that you can play the PacMan melody on demand or when the alarm goes off!
With that said, it feels like I need to press each of the buttons around the face at different levels of pressure in order for them to register. Docking a star because I find myself needing to release and re-press the Split/Reset button a couple times for it to register successfully (This is my first day with the watch, btw). Kind of a bummer since Split/Reset is also the backlight button.

First thing I tried...unfortunately not it. Also tried the reset button...it is only the reset for the stopwatch function.
Re: Calling all LCD watch experts
It's likely the ribbon or whatever is connecting the circuit board to the LCD is loose or faulty. You could try taking it apart and trying to get a better connection. Here are two resources for doing that:
