As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Info Requested on Grandia Watches or Vintage Sarcar

Post by chronolunar »

I found a vintage Grandia watch from the 50s that I am seriously considering. I do trust the seller regarding the watch currently being usable and running well but I dont think that he knows much about the history or heritage of the company. Vintage scares me a bit and sometimes what is running today might not be running tomorrow. And yet, if its running after 70 years it probably is not junk. Any information that any of you can share with me would be appreciated.

I also am considering a Sarcar from the 70s of which I can find small amounts of info on the web but I do not know much about it either. It seems like it once was a high end brand.

Thank you for any information or help that you can give me.
