Haha, no offense taken at all. I didn't buy any new watches in February or March. I actually haven't really made a purchase since December. My standard rotation watches are my Speedy, Trilogy, Railmaster, Geneve, Intra-Matic, Oris, and Longines. The other watches will get on the wrist here and there. I was actually quite surprise at often I wore a few of the not in the rotation watches, like the Alpinist.

The chart does not include all of my watches and the increase is from watches that are just sitting in my drawer. I think I have somewhere in the range of 50-60 watches, so that leaves a lot that do not get worn on the regular. My tastes are ever changes and some of my former rotation watches are relegated to the drawer. Because I have so many watches and many that do not get worn, that has really kept me in check from buying random watches. I'm much more concerted in my purchasing decisions now, which is why I haven't purchased anything for a few months. I will say that I am getting the itch to buy something, but can't get myself to pull the trigger on anything.

Time for April stats! I'm easily distracted by the new shiny thing, so of course the new additions (Farer Bradfield and GBX100) saw the most wrist time.

Farer also managed to capture a top spot when looking at days worn by brand. Seiko will always place near the top in this metric because of how heavily represented they are in my collection.

I have always thought that this tally was interesting, so I finally broke down and looked at this past month.

Yeah, and even those two were even . I don't have a large collection, but there are a couple in there that I forgot that I wore. One of the things that I like about this place (and the LWDS thread) it that is helps me change things up.

I change my watches up to 4mtimes per day on some days....how would you account for this in the tally? Guess I could do this with hours as the base unit and calc %’s...

In previous years, I counted all watches worn in a day with no consideration for time worn but I never wore more than 2 per day. If I felt it was a significant amount of time, it was counted. The metric changed from number of days worn to number of times worn.

I don't account for time worn, just if it's worn.

That basically how I track. If I change watches its when I come home. So usually i have 2 opportunities to wear a watch daily. roughly 60 per month. If I wear the same watch all day it gets counted twice for that day.

Here is a screenshot of the Excel Sheet

April Numbers are in:

2021 YTD
Amazing that the Halios and Ranger have made such a dent in a short time. ALL OTHERS are watches that have been sold, only in for review, or borrowed.

Forgot to post last month so I’ve combined March and April into one chart. Christopher Ward C65 takes the top spot again but I’ve been rather smitten with the burgundy Zelos Horizons since receiving it just a couple weeks ago. I suspect it might unseat the CW in May.

Here's April for me. Not much a change from the prior months. I'm doing a better job keeping tally this month and there will be changes because I got a new watch and sold some off.
