As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I like the dial and love a big date complication. The movement, using the Powermatic 80 or ETA C07.111 as it's base, is similar to that of the Mido Big Date watches introduced in 2018, except this one uses a Nivachron (titanium-based alloy) balance spring to resist magnetism.

For some reason getting a SARB033/SARB035 vibe with that case, except for the drilled lugs of course.
Wonder if it's their Iconik 5?

The iconik series ended with iconik 4.

Is his last watch an explorer dial in a SARB-inspired case with drilled lugs and box sapphire?

2019 New and Upcoming Releases!

Nodus is teasing a new watch, the Duality, that launches this Friday 10/4. They say in the comments that it will be 40mm x 13mm (with domed crystal) and 48mm lug-to-lug. Appears to be a super compressor.

More teaser pics on their IG account.

In the past year or two, Seiko has released two Prospex MarineMaster 300 models (although without the MM designation), the SLA021J1 and the SLA019J1. While it has been known for some time that there are two more on the way, there was never any confirmation or release date announced by Seiko. Both in blue, the SLA027 Zimbe Limited Edition is expected to be a production of 428 pieces while the SLA023J1 is expected to be non-limited. In recent days, the SLA023J1 is showing up on more and more sites as in stock and available for purchase.

Unfortunately I don't have much information or sources to cite for this, but there has been a hint/leak/speculation that a Presage re-issue of Seiko's 1964 Tokyo Olympic Chronograph may be in the works. An original is pictured below.

That would be cool. I've thought about buying one of these many times, especially the grey dial. I'm a sucker for a grey dial.

I expect this would coincide with the 2020 summer games in Toyko.

No more info so far but this popped up on Worn & Wound's IG account. Hopefully the final product will have the inner military hour track aligned with the aperture on the hour hand.
