He's got a facebook page that he posts on regularly, though I don't often go there since I don't have a FB account anymore. There might be prototype pics up there.
Last post/pictures I could find on the page were from back in January.
Although he does show the caseback.

Only real complaint is that for a watch with an aesthetic based on architecture, wish there was a better placement of the date window or a non-date option.

It's not too often I get excited about a new Mido but I think they have a winner with the new Mido Multifort Patrimony. There are three colorways and I think they all look great but the real MVP has to be the blue dial. While there probably was not a great need for a Pulsometer scale, especially in a 3-hander, I don't think it detracts too much from the design here.

A Blog to Watch has a hands-on review with the Zodiac Aerospace GMT. Some fantastic high res images that will make this watch even harder to get once people see them: https://www.ablogtowatch.com/zodiac-aer ... t-watch-2/

Apparently, there are plans to do another run of them.

The metal squares that came out last year caught my eye and I really liked the silver metal square with the resin band, but as I looked around more, I saw that Casio came out with new blue and black versions on the resin band and I think they look really good! The blue especially should look pretty awesome and different depending on the lighting.

I haven't seen anything as to whether these watches will be coming to the US, but they are available in Asia now.

QUOTE EDIT NOTE: Pics deleted to save some scrolling
Well, since I posted this it appears that these watches are coming to the US after all. That said, mine has arrived from an AD in Asia and I'm very pleased with it!

The irony here is that now I feel like I don't want to wear the GShock when doing more active things as I don't want to risk damaging the blue IP coating! Is it weird that I've considered getting a "beater GShock" to preserve this one? I think so...

That aside, once the Zelos GMT comes in, I'm most definitely done buying watches for a while. I've been going crazy with buying/selling in the past 6 months and I really need to slow down!

One of the things I really enjoy about this hobby that I didn't know about beforehand was the buying/selling aspect of it. With some research and willingness to buy some pieces used, you can pretty much just trade evenly after some initial investment. My "next watch fund" is just my current collection!

Also, check Nordstrom Rack for g-shocks if you're close to one. Good deals to be had, though it of course depends on current stock.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Oris has previously produced two versions of a Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph. The bronzeCarl Brashear model was released in 2018 and the stainless steel with blue dial Bucherer model was announced just a few weeks ago. However both were limited editions. Now Oris has announced a regular production model of this chronograph in stainless steel with a black dial, a bronze bezel, and PVD hands and indices that match the bronze. The watch measures 43mm in diameter and is available now for a retail price of $4000.

^^^ That’s too high of an MSRP. Oris is doing so many things right, but their pricing strengthens the gray market and weakens the brand, in my opinion.

I don't know anything about this brand but assuming they can assemble a quality watch, that is a great price for a really good-looking 2894 chronograph. Only $718 USD. I like that they went with a 12 hour bezel and omitted the date. I guess I would prefer 40mm but 38mm is still wearable for me. Even if I'm not a buyer, I'll probably follow this one a little closer than most Kickstarter watches.

Oris keeps moving up on my list. They consistently produce nice designs.

I saw mention of the relatively new brand Reservoir recently in the Haute Horlogerie Thread and noticed they have a new dive watch called the Hydrosphere making its debut this summer. Like the other watches in its line-up, it uses a modified ETA 2824 movement to display a jumping hour with cyclops, a retrograde minutes hand that snaps back from 60 to 0 every hour, and a power reserve indicator. However, being a diver, this model also features a unique elapsed time bezel and a small center seconds ring to indicate that the watch is still running. The watch will come in three colorways, the Blackfin, the Blue Hole, and what I'm sure will be the most popular, the white/lume dial Air Gauge.
