It will be called the W.W.W., after "Wrist Watch Waterproof" a specification for all military watches issued by the British Ministry of Defence at that time. The first 500 watches, referred to as the WMB Edition, will come with the hand-winding ETA 2801-2 movement. They are available for $540 and delivery is planned for September of this year.

How come every new release watch I see on here lately that I like has a dial that is too small for my XXL wrists?

Must be a worldwide conspiracy against those that are wrist circumference challenged!
If I had my way I would maybe upsize this one but not by much. I think I would be ok with the screw-down crown on a manual wind watch but I've never had one before. The thing I would definitely change would be to replace the mineral crystal with sapphire. I think you could maybe even make a case for acrylic but mineral seems like the wrong choice to me. Otherwise I like it. As far as the Dan Henry being too small, well....I don't really feel that bad for you. You already have a great looking panda chrono with that Dryden which I think I remember is 42mm. Overall, I think sizing was definitely in your favor a few years ago but the trend seems to be towards smaller sizes.

You all had your chance! Back in 2015 when I began really getting into watches it seemed like everything was 42mm. Those of us with wrists like tween girls are really happy to see the trend beginning to reverse. :D

I understand there is a plastic surgeon who does butt augmentations who will also do wrist augmentations.

yinzburgher wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 10:28 pm New colors are coming for the Bulova Oceanographer "Devil Diver" and I'm excited. I know plenty of people will be disappointed or even upset about the use of Miyota's 8200 series movement in an almost $800 watch. But here is my hope. Bulova seems to be releasing 2 or 3 new colorways and from what I can tell none of them are limited production. So the increased availability (supply) coupled with that fact that many enthusiasts say they won't buy watches with this movement (demand) could help bring these prices down well below $300 by later this year or next year. Then my only problem will be which colorway 🤔💸⌚😁 I have no problem with the movement and feel it has a very solid history of reliability. These models aren't up on Bulova's website currently. Only article I could find so far is from ABTW. Scroll right for a closer look at all 3 colors. Which is your favorite?

Brand: Bulova
Model: Oceanographer Devil Diver
Dimensions: 44mm diameter, 14.55mm-thick
Water Resistance: 200 meters
Case Material: Stainless steel
Crystal/Lens: Sapphire
Movement: Miyota 821D
Frequency: 3 Hz
Power Reserve: 42 hours
Strap/Bracelet: Stainless steel
Price & Availability: $795

These are finally in stores and on ebay for anyone interested. I don't see the blue with yellow anywhere but the green with black and blue with orange are all over.

Directly on the heels of a successful pre-order for their first bronze diver, Yema is launching a pre-order for the first automatic GMT version of the iconic Superman dive watch. Yema used the same development process for this watch on their CoLabs site, taking input from their fans and customers to help design the watch. You may notice some similarities to a more well-known icon.

Hmmm...I really like the Eiger. And I'd like the Matterhorn black PVD, but with the white instead of gray for indices, numbering, hands, etc. like the Rushmore. I guess it's the Eiger, then. Will you order one for me, Boourns? :D

WATCHES BY SJX ARTICLE

***A Sellita SW500 is basically a clone of the ETA / Valjoux 7750. The Sellita SW510 is a SW500 modified for an arguably more aesthetically pleasing 3,6,9 subdial formation. The newly developed Sellita SW510M (M for manual) hand-wound chronograph movement is basically a SW510 modified to remove the automatic winding mechanism (get rid of the rotor). So this subdial layout may be different, but it sounds like this is more or less a clone of a Valjoux 7760? Also, look for another upcoming article/review from Fratello Watches.

I like the case shape. And the size and price are both reasonable. If I was a buyer, I would definitely be going for the white/lume dial too.

Blue and White look really good, IMO. The black/gray might be hard to read? I think my fav is still the original Fuji:

Wondering how long it will take the Timex Group to make a fuss about another watch with ‘Expedition’ on the dial.

I still respect boldr enough to come up with their original design, though their model names aren’t that creative

The brand that I cannot respect is Gruppo Gamma, they’re copying Panerai and Ennebi but making it dangerously close to fake territory...yet they still insist that they only paying homage to Rolex...
