The thing with Seiko is...they try too hard to move upmarket but their brand isn’t what an average buyers consider as an “upscale” brand

Maybe soon we’ll see them in a pinch between a casual buyer stop buying their products and WIS abandoning their brand because they no longer offer a good value....only time will tell

The japanese will probably still buy them though..as it’s still considered as their “hierarchical” office watch...

Another Zimbe...
I still want to try out a MM200. Everyone says they wear much smaller than the 44mm size. I like this one but I'm guessing this will be more than I want to spend. The colors make me think of the new green Aevig Huldra. If the IG post below is correct, it is reference SPB109. It lists some other info too.

Yes, it actually wears like a 42mm on my 7.25” wrist. I have the Padi version.

But with micros charging $400-500, the non-limited release mm200 is fairly reasonable at $700-800, considering the finishing, etc.

The part that they are overdoing it is with the special and limited editions that are severely priced over what regular buyers are willing to pay. And the new presages. €4000???

^ He calls it a silver dial, but holding out hope that might be a full lume dial.

More pics from the place that shall not be named... The gloss black actually has a polished and brushed case AND polished chapter ring. And doesn't look like the silver will be full lume. But they look great in my opinion. Might buy both who knows [emoji848]

I can't decide how I feel about this one, other than to say I probably wouldn't wear it with purple corduroys. Worn & Wound seems to like it though.

THE TODD SNYDER X TIMEX MARLIN IN OLIVE IS THE BEST ONE YET

The very rounded edges, especially the edge of the bezel, seem like an odd choice to me......and yet I like it.

Orient has a new release up on their site and already for sale. It's called the Commuter and it looks to be a rebranding of the Starfish from what I can tell. They updated the movement and moved the odd positioning of the day window. There are a total of 6 variations, all going for $185 on the Orient Watch USA site.
