Yes, we have true friendships here. Can't wait for the pandemic to end so we can do some meet ups. That reminds me, we haven't done a virtual meet up in a few months.Ironman_KL wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 4:55 am Wow - serious kindness.

Yep, same here. Haven't been able to spend much time on here so totally out of touch, just let me know how/where to send the looove! We all need it for all sort of reasons.

peskydonut - the watch fits you very well....and I am sure bearded or not it'd still look good on you.
Re: A surprise from Poland
About a month ago, ManOnTime mentioned in LWDS that he hoped peskydonut was okay because we hadn't heard from him in awhile. I chimed in saying I was thinking the same. Alex then let us know he had some personal stuff going on, and one thing led to another.
We really do have a great community here. It's nice knowing that people from all over the world with different backgrounds have each other backs.
I'm happy to see Alex posting more. I think we need to get that long form WRUW started up again.

I think this watch would look bad ass on bracelet. Anyone know where to procure a stock bracelet or a suitable alternative at a reasonable price?

Amen! This place is truly excellent. A community of friends masquerading as a deals forum (not to take anything away from the HUISABH thread).Stretch44 wrote:About a month ago, ManOnTime mentioned in LWDS that he hoped peskydonut was okay because we hadn't heard from him in awhile. With the divorce I picked up a whole lot of new responsibilities and haven't had a ton of spare time, but I'd love to start doing some more outings and revive the longform WRUW thread.

Re: A surprise from Poland
Ended up getting the flat links Berwick. I strongly prefer a "dressed down" look and tend to shy away from anything with high polish. The angular brushed links seemed in line with that esthetic. It doesn't exactly hit the vintage/racing look, but hoping it'll work out anyway.
I'll report back when the bracelet arrives, which will hopefully be this week.
I bought it from Geckota rather than Watch Gecko because the former had a 10% off code (GECKOTA10). The $14 shipping hurts, but the 10% off code soothes the pain a bit...$73.40 all in.

Bracelet arrived today. 2.5 days from the UK to US!
I barely had enough time to size it and take some quick photos...

They go together like peas and carrots. It really changes the look and I like it!
