I'll get one, eventually. I sure as heck won't be paying a dang flipper for one. 🐬

Almost got one here in Paris this morning but scalper gangs spoiled the party and police had to close down the shop after about 15 customers got in (most of them the leaders of those same scalper gangs…).

So there will be an online release? That is good news I want to add one to my collection

Yes. Swatch has been saying there would be store restocks and online sales "at a later date", with rumors that the later date may be as soon as this week or next.

There are reports of SEVERAL HUNDRED people in line at the Swatch store. The store said they got 200 of each model, so maybe that's enough.
Standing in line to make over $1000 on two $260 watches is a pretty good deal. Flip Life!

They're NOT limited edition.

Swatch apparently WILL eventually be selling them via their webstore.

People paying that much for one are imbeciles IMO.

I'm actually losing hope. If they keep releasing in small batches, the bots could snap up all the online sales and all the people willing to line up overnight (and scalping gangs?) will keep getting the in store sales.

I mean, if the same 50 flippers and people with nothing better to do keep buying out the in store stock, normies (with jobs and families and a desire to sleep each day, etc) will never have a realistic opportunity to pay retail.

If Swatch is serious about getting these into EVERYONE's hands, rather than just SELLING OUT to anybody who shows up, they may need a better system. Restocking stores in small amounts and opening up sales online without an effective anti-scalper system in place could be a never ending circus.

Anyway, fingers crossed Swatch figures it out soon.

btw, although this is not a limited edition release from a quantity perspective, I'm reading rumors Swatch could discontinue sales after just a few months, so clock is ticking people! lol :o  :P
