As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
Nice Janata. I've been reading a lot on HMT recently and thinking about buying a couple. Very neat all-Indian manufacturing.
Thanks ... they are very nice handwind inexpensive watches . You will definitely like them the finish though is not seiko or orient quality but its a very acquired taste kinda ... someday i plan on uploading pics of my entire hmt collection in a separate thread ...

Ooh please do sometime, that would be very interesting!
I definitely get the sense that they are an acquired taste. I love Indian food though, so maybe I'm primed to love their watches.

I agree. I've got my first HMT coming in the mail. A Pilot. I've been wearing handwound watches lately and decided that I needed an HMT. I like the quirky charm they offer. I also like the history. So for the princely sum of $29.99 I will join the HMT club.
