As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Getting ready for a hearing this morning in San Jose. Since I'm up here I'm going to try and hit up the Omega AD and try on some watches. Hopefully I restrain myself... Image

Tried on a few Omegas. This was by far my favorite, love the size and broad arrow hands. Maybe someday...

My Ice watches arrived today. The green 36mm might just be too small on me. And its lug with measures 17mm, defying my limited strap options. It might become a gift for my niece (I already have a Timex for her brother).

UPDATE: The orange watch battery seems to be dead -- the 1.55 battery is reading only 0.80 volts. This despite the crown having been pulled. But I can now report it has a Miyota 2115 movement.

The orange 38mm has a 20mm lug width. Its molded rubber strap has a nice feel but its contour doesn't fit me. Here it is on a stop-gap nato. It cracks me up. The case is more fluorescent than the photo shows.

Update: The 36mm can take an 18mm nato. Here it is on my 6.75" wrist (tho the camera makes it look bigger). Nice touch: the hands were set to 10:10 out of the box.

Sometimes the strap makes the watch...great looking combo.

Just arrived. Very happy at $256.

Good A/R on the crystal, blazing tritium indices, 120 click ceramic bezel, nicely knurled and engraved crown, chunky 22mm bracelet.....tall but VERY wearable.

I guess I could take 5 secs and wipe the dust off the crystal.

Since the Minuteman A11 came in yesterday, thought I'd wear it today.
Didn't care for the OEM stap, so tried it on the Froskemann elastic.
MUCH better.
