Thank you! Sometimes I feel out of place posting vintage....but happy they are appreciated. This one is one of my favorites...pearl-colored enameled dial is incredible, and the rose gold indices and hands complement well. Finally have it on a strap that it deserves (a Rios).

Never feel out of place posting something vintage. I love them and I love that you are able to find and rehabilitate so many great looking watches.watchpalooza wrote:Thank you! Is this a personal or family watch? What’s the story here? It looks great.watchpalooza wrote:Vintage Oris...this one has survived being worn on the ground in two wars.

Re: WRUW
Not so much a personal story. Its a vintage watch I bought from the son of a vet. His father received it as a gift in 1965 and wore it while deployed in the Korean DMZ conflict and later in Vietnam.

I kinda sorta did also. Then found one on sale for $315.00 and thought I'd try it. Absolutely love it! It's a combination of coolness, functionality, and maintenance free, all in one imo. Also looks better in person I think.
