As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Funny. I don’t have acrylic working skills. The few crystals in that case shape have had a large flange around them as if the acrylic was heated up and air blown in it fill out the shape of the mold (AKA: blow molding). I would also just look for a non-running donor watch.watchpalooza wrote:No, that would require skills like Sporkboy! Me, I either measure and send a request to my contacts or look for another of the same watch not running and buy for a few bucks to swap.ManOnTime wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 8:02 amHow do you get a new crystal for something like that? I assume odd shapes are hard to come buy. Are you cutting acrylic crystals yourself from sheet stock?watchpalooza wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 4:39 am Needs a new crystal, and considering removing rest of chrome to bring down to base metal...

An oldie but a goodie for today. So old in fact it was on the leather and the contraption that holds the band on disintegrated as I was putting it on. Got the rubber and bracelet for it as well but guessing if they go I am SOL. No clue if I could hunt replacements down at this point.

My first "mod" I think. Took a cheap DW5600BBM and swapped the bezel for a blue metal one. Very hard to photograph as the bezel is super dark blue. Was hoping the bezel would be the same shade as the blue GMWB5000 but it doesn't look half bad. Had to degrade the photo quality to get it to upload, damn Tapatalk
