Re: WRUW
Especially for TheJohnP - Tissot Heritage Navigator World Timer in Black and Silver (also comes in white).
This has the very sophisticated ETA 2893-3 movement and automatically shows world time, in a different way, with the radially marked cities on a central rotating disc, and a stationary outer time disc. The choice of cities on the dial shows the influence of the 50s and 60s, and the dawn of international air travel (Mexico instead of Chicago, Bombay instead of Mumbai, etc.) and also very simply solves the problem of India's tricky half hour time zone difference, common with other modern world timers. The finishing is top-notch, although I did change the (much too) shiny stock strap to an ostrich leather one. And in spite of its rather large diameter (43 mm), the thickness is very dress-watch like (9.6 mm). It's also a numbered limited 160th Anniversary edition, and is a certified chronometer (in my measurements, I actually got 0.0 s/d variation). The actual time telling in your local zone can be a bit tricky at first, since you have to look at the numbers on the bezel and not the dial, but overall I highly recommend this watch.

On an ostrich leg strap from Andrea. Dressy watch, dressy strap, I guess.
Just my $0.02 USD as always.
