As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

The watch my dad gave me that led me into this madness. It needed some sunshine, but is happily ticking away again.

My son picked for me...1964 cal 610 with pearl-colored dial showing a bit of patina.

Trying the camera on my phone for the first time -- my old camera just sucks for wrist shots. The lowest res. setting still seems too high, making the file size needlessly large. So I resampled it on my PC which added some compression artifacts. Lighting/exposure could be better. Onward and upward.

Still wearing the SBDC063. This is my favorite Seiko dive watch. Early in my watch journey I owned an SKX007, which I have since sold. This definitely has a similar feel but is a solid step up in quality, refinement, and accuracy.
I'm a little more conscious of what I do when wearing this watch as opposed to the SKX, but it's still held up to a good bit of work and adventure.
