Thanks. There are a couple I miss, the FOIS and the Reverso, but for the most part I'm happy where I am. Looking to add a fourth as a beater though.

I try to switch it up a bit, but I just can't get excited about metal or rubber. I have a beautiful bracelet for my Railmaster that I don't really wear anymore. Leather just has so much more character. If you like any in particular I remember what brand most of them are. A lot of the custom vintage material pieces are EKStraps, he's a great guy.

This may sound creepy, but I think we are watch soulmates. Seems like we have similar taste (if not budget). I have lusted over so many of these. . .the Captain Cook, Reverso, Railmaster, IWC, Diver 65, Club Campus. And my grail is a Geophysic 1958, though I'd settle on a MCD sector dial if I had to.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Is the strap on the Intramatic from EKStraps? It’s a good match for the watch and I’ve never seen one like it.

Ha, not (too) creepy. Some of those are fairly attainable, or at least in or close to the "affordable" category. For the Captain Cook, Oris, and Nomos, for example, I paid $1200, $800, and $875 respectively. I started with a whole bunch of Hamiltons and worked my way up.

That's a Hodinkee strap that is perpetually sold out. There use to be a company called 210 E Oak that made one very similar, but I think they went out of business. I miss that watch a bit, the person I sold it to just resold it, and I missed it.

I looked for a similar strap for a few months ago and also found this one: https://www.steveostraps.com/straps-2/top-end-stuff. Scroll about 2/3 of the way down or just ctrl+f for "herringbone." I was going to recommend the 210 East Oak site that @atdegs mentioned, but I did not know they went under.

Thanks, guys! And to return to the topic of the thread, I have quite a few watches in my current collection but the favorites today are the SKX I’m wearing now, my Hamilton Elvis80, Intramatic, Mondaine Gottardo, black Bulova Lunar Pilot, and this guy.

Edit: the slava day/date has moved on to a deserving home. This was my SOTC at the start of the year. Also add in an Ivicta pro diver that was gifted to me.

I cant wait to see FTEs SOTC. He has so many obscure and really interesting vintage watches from brands I hadn't even heard of.
