I got this Hamilton hand winder from Leo Hamel out in San Diego during BF and received it earlier this week. Thanks to TheJohnP for posting the deal.

Incoming! What have you got in the mail?

Post by recapt »

Just pulled the trigger on this in the final few hours of the lowest early bird pricing - even though I already have their first release I wanted to try the stainless steel bezel and BoR combo.

Mecaquartz, hi-dome hesalite, “big eye” layout. No running seconds hand which gave me pause but I overcame that adversity. [emoji6]

Came to $339 total. Delivery expected before the holidays.

Confession: I run my chrono when I want to enjoy (smooth) center seconds (and it even has small seconds).

Received the manufacturer refurbished Alpina Seastrong Diver Heritage from officialwatchdeals on Ebay. Came in the nice display case and looked to have never been completely unwrapped. I can't tell it's not new

I've got an Oris 65 Heritage coming in. Won an eBay auction I didn't think I'd win. Haha.

I'm impressed that even with a steep discount this was shipped via UPS 2nd Day. Scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Seiko Prospex SRPC93 Save the Ocean Samurai from Greentoe. The price is on the low side so I think I'll believe it when I see it.

Amazon Warehouse had a Casio Duro "Marlin" MDV106 for just $19, so I have that on the way. I've actually never owned one before. Also incoming is a new battery for my Ironman Endure Shock....wore it the other day and the Indiglo wasn't working......next day.....DED. And for the moment I'm abstaining from that Skagen Fisk with the black case and blue strap. Gonna sleep on it and maybe everybody here will buy them before I get around to it. How much better is it to be addicted to buying cheap watches versus expensive ones? Or compared to other products that you just don't really need?
