Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
I've been looking for a birthyear watch. I'm not sure why. Anyway, I like the legacy of Timex, so I started looking a while back. Things lined up with a rail road style day date (currently part of the Easy Reader line). I could have gotten a new one of these with the same looks, but this somehow has much more charm. Since it is as old as I am, we can see which one of us stops working first. Thank you eBay, great enabler of the collectors.

I've thought about a birth year watch as well. The obvious choice for me is the 1987 Omega Speedmaster with Copper movement [emoji7]Sporkboy wrote:I've been looking for a birthyear watch. Glycine Combat 7 Vintage from the 22% off Ashford sale and a two-piece nylon strap that should hopefully be sufficiently long enough for my wrist.

Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
I won’t tell, but I seem to recall you saying “I can’t get anything new right now” not too long ago...and this will make new watch #2 or #3. I know one was from the raffle but you are still the man!
