My last purchases for the year.

Thank you @Boourns ,@TheJohnP for the 30% off from thewatchmaker.com. I waited an entire 18 hours to see if the watch would go away and be bought by someone but they still showed it as available so I caved in and got it. This is probably the best looking BCPD that Oris has made and only Oris I have been interested in. Shipped it to my friend and I will probably only see it when I get to the US someday. So one Oris Roberto Clemente Limited Edition is on its way. Will ask for some pictures and there's a baseball included too apparently. There's a ball joke somewhere in the purchase for certain :D

the next 2 purchases are from Timefactors and should be on its way in a week or two I think.

The Oris has arrived at my friend's place. Just 3 quick snaps. Maybe more pictures tomorrow. Hopefully I get to see them next year when I get there.

The 2 Smiths watches have arrived. The serial numbers are just also one digit apart 3x/50 and x3x/500. I didn't request for that but a pleasant surprise nonetheless. Build quality of both watches and strap/bracelet are excellent. Been waiting for both for almost a year since announcement.

The PRS 25 Jubilee bracelet is comfortable and solidly built. It is not flimsy at all and each link fully articulates. It is also my first aventurine dial. Most of the time it looks black but outside or in direct light its a very dark royal blue. The sparkly dots on dial truly look like watching the stars at night but once again only in bright light/outdoors. The dots are mostly white but depending on light colour you can see the odd blue, red, yellow ones interspersed. It's hard to take picture of as well since the dial is quite dynamic in bright light.

The PRS 57 is my first monopusher. Small chunky chrono that squats on wrist well. Feels solid but not top heavy. I think there's only 3 or 4 other monopushers in the market right now but none as affordable with same movement. Very satisfying clicks and easy to wind too. Overall happy with both watches.

well my friend managed to take only one more picture which is not blurry(and here I thought I was bad at taking pictures :D). So here's the baseball a little better than the picture posted earlier.

Thanks to @TheJohnP for posting the Second Hours Watches sale and reminding me that I regretted missing out on the Mandala. Shipping confirmation received this morning.

I have stopped saying “my last purchase for the year”…seems that is never a good bet!

I received my deep blue Mandala today, and have to say the quality is exceptional. Really one of the only KS watches I have bought that I would consider the total package and a luxury watch. IMO they got everything right on this one.

I was fortunate to find a black dialed version with no date from a local German seller that is still NIB and under warranty….for only €300. So now this is incoming. That will dollar cost average the extra €94 I had to pay in import fees for the first one. Only salmon left to collect the trifecta!

I am also excited. Going to put this on my Forstner Komfit Wide. Should look super awesome. I am also considering making up something custom in the strap department, but we will see what I can find in the materials department.

Incoming! This is, as near as I can tell, an original, un-frankened like new condition HMT Janata, Hindi dial.
The Janata has always been my favorite HMT, and are hard to find in original condition, the Hindi dial even more so. I am crossing my fingers but I think this is it.
I'm super excited to get it!
