Another vintage diver...was on my watchlist, seller offered 22% off for $70 and accepted my counter offer of $60.

The girlfriend will not be happy. Better sell some watches.

Got a brand new Flighty SNA411 on it's way. Waited so long to get one and I didn't know it would be this hard to find new once Joma sold out.

I almost got the Forester too at that price. I don't need it but hell I'm bored!

I have no delusions around what these are. Quartz homages with a nice build quality for a VERY reasonable price. I asked for a deal on all 3, so $509 is mighty fine and now they’re mine to wear in the sunshine and coming just in time. Oh brother.

Since the site was down, I found my way to ebay this morning. Paid $16 each for these...

Nisus from the 30’s (I have a weak spot for Nisus...hopefully an A/S inside):

French brand I cannot find anything about:

And $86 for this vintage Rado:

Thanks...it’s apparently from 2017, though I find nothing online yet about the brand.

I have two things inbound at the same time. Do I get a special badge, or something, for that?

Thanks to Sporkboy's ebay suggestion, I have a gently loved DataLink on the way. I am really looking forward to playing with this and just hope that I don't end up with a bunch more  .

There is also a very gently used speedmaster bracelet that will be coming soon. I slept on this for several nights and admit that it wasn't a 100% rational decision, but not all of the things that we do around here make sense all of the time.

Picked up this Zeno hand winder from an Amazon Warehouse deal.

Image

They only had the one, or you know I would've shared.
Apparently only missing a manual. But will see the actual condition when it arrives.

Couldn't pass up a 40mm mechanical for $150.
Considering the costs for just an ETA Unitas 6497 movement, I pretty much got the rest of the watch free.

I will gladly take the blame for this one. I am looking forward to hearing what you think about it. I have ordered a microcontroller that should be able to program these watches.

If I get that working, I think that 3D printing a space themed watch stand and embedding the programmer into it will be in order. The idea would be something cool that would hold and display the watch and then turn the watch around to program it.

Now that CVP33 has confirmed the chrono resolution, I have this on the way:
