Very cool. Where did you order these from? I’ve been low-grade obsessed with getting a cheap 1655 homage for a while now.CVP33 wrote:I have no delusions around what these are. Quartz homages with a nice build quality for a VERY reasonable price. I asked for a deal on all 3, so $509 is mighty fine and now they’re mine to wear in the sunshine and coming just in time. Oh brother.

Serious watches.com
A chat bot will ask you if you need help. I said yes, I’d like a deal if I buy 3 watches. They’re listed on EBay for $270 and direct on SW for $240-ish. They dropped to $170 after one round of negotiating.

Two new ones on the way! I had $10 in Rakuten points that were expiring I I couldn't find a $10 watch that I wanted. So I added another $9 in points to order this Casio W96H-1AV. I probably don't really need this but I enjoy switching up my work watches so it will nice to have a new one in the rotation.
And I've been eyeing this Timex Expedition Katmai TW4B16700 for a little while and haven't seen new ones go much lower than $42. With my ebay bucks expiring soon, I figured now was as good of a time as any. I haven't owned an ana-digi since I sold my Casio Lineage years ago. I'm really excited about this one but also trying not to get my hopes up regarding the quality.

That Casio would be killer with a hydro mod. The viability on it would be off the charts. That’s what I am planning on when my eyes start going.yinzburgher wrote:Two new ones on the way! Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
Saw a pic of this on a random thread and thought what the heck. My first Spinnaker and hopefully a fun summer watch.
That said, it left France two weeks ago and the tracking hasn't been updated since then.....
(Not my pics, obviously.)

Nice watches. I almost pulled the trigger on the very same Vostok a week ago. Hopefully they arrive soon.

Another vintage Omega on the way... Couldn’t resist picking up a cal. 711, which is the thinnest automatic calibre ever made by Omega.
