As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

A bit of a departure from my usual pickup. Had the opportunity to buy this at a price that would have risked me getting me slapped silly if I passed on it. Wasn’t looking for one, but it fits in well with the watches I gravitate towards while adding something unique to the collection.

Have been waiting on the right deal to pop up on this. Thanks to @BostonCharlie--who posted an amazing Jared clearance offer in the deals thread--one is on its way, with AD warranty! I think I got the last one...sorry? ;)

Moonswatch tip. All you need is an OCD sister who works two blocks from the 5th Ave Swatch store 3 months and for it to be your 40th birthday so you have that extra little motivation to get something special, and one of these could be yours too.

FYI, she said the purchase went down like a drug deal, she asked if they had any the guy took her credit card went to the back and came out with the bag stapled shut and after she left stopped letting people in the store.

Replaced a band in my watch winder, but the repair did not last. Taking the opportunity to upgrade.

This RZE Supercompressor came in and it has alignment and typical cheap, Chinese quality issues.

I’m sure I’ll be the only one who cares, but I’m not impressed at all. Seems like cheap Kickstarter junk to me.

The chapter ring is printed by 5th graders with their Koolaid spiked with GHB.

When you look at the bezel, chapter ring, and markers, the grossly murdered alignment ruins it.

I’ll be flipping this after waiting 8 months for it. I know better.

Seems like just typical junk from that area of the world, no offense, but what’s off is that the owners just said hell with it and sent it out. That brand is toast.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see what's wrong with it from that photo?

No doubt it is off as you say, which is a shame because I do like the original Resolute models. The teal Resolute has become my go-to travelling watch.

Perhaps there was also less to go wrong with those. I did have a mental adjustment period getting used to the (lack of) weight of titanium. My brain kept saying "lightweight = crap", but, to be fair, that didn't last long and it's been rock solid.
