As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Thanks to @recapt for posting the Nodus deal. Perusing the site, I discovered a couple models I didn't know about. And although the one I wanted was sold out at Nodus, there was one available in like new on Watchex, so I snagged it.

Wow, that finish and dial color just immediately make me think “brilliant”. Bright and contemporary.

Watch arrived today. I am even more happier that the silver dial is slightly warmer than stock photo. It's closer to my first photo then the last one on wrist posted below. The real blued hands take my breath away. All 3 hands are long and slender. Watch looks a lot more expensive on the wrist with excellent case finishing(a step above my Antea KS Rose) and everything is in balance and in correct proportions. Also might be a smudge magnet as seen in photo below. Nicest california dial version I've seen so far on any watch that I can afford.

Just came to terms on a price for this excellent condition Zodiac Aerospace GMT from 1969… and I’m kinda thrilled about that.

Yeah, I know right?! I have always loved these watches but was not actively searching for one. I came across this listing and found myself in a position to make it happen and decided I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I’m buying it from a watchmaker who is giving me a 1-year warranty on it and (amazingly) I’ve been able to connect with the two owners of this watch prior to him and have gotten details on the known service history. I’ve also been able to trace it back to an estate auction in Texas a couple of years ago which I believe is when it first left possession of the original owner. It should be here by Friday next week so many pics to follow after that!
