Trying not to keep hopes too high...
I was pretty close.

Enclave chrono and an Orient Mako II

[img][/img]

Had a feeling that would happen.
Dislike chronos and dive watches, so OF COURSE I'd get a chrono and dive watch.

^ Don't know much about the enclave, but you ought to be able to get your money back on the Orient on the secondary market.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I like Orient a lot. Just dislike divers.
I figure I should break even on the Orient.

But it won't make up for the bath I'm going to take on that Enclave.

I have to admit I am really disappointed.
Was hoping I would get at least one winner.
Alas.

I like Orient and divers are one of my favorite styles. I would have been happy with it. Sorry about your luck.

Some people think its blasphemy, but I really like the look of a diver on a leather strap. It can really dress up a watch, and therefore minimize the diver-ness. If you like the Orient it might be worth throwing it on a brown leather strap.

Here's a random pic from the interwebs:

It's not the strap, Boourns , I don't like the look/feel of external bezels.
I only have one watch that has it, only because the dial is Colombian flag (represent!).
And if I could get rid of that bezel, I would do so in a heartbeat.

That enclave looks really weird. I picked up an enclave from their drop. I love it for the looks and simplicity of the dial and the font of the numbers. The color palette was way different though, this is what I picked up a while ago from massdrop..

With just over 21% of all watches received so far, the following seem to be true:

1) Some are receiving watches not on the list, including women’s models
2) Shipping weights have been largely misrepresented
3) Quartz watches are shipped without batteries
4) MD appears to have fulfilled in descending order from the highest tier to the lowest. Current % received by tier is

$250 - 28%
$150 - 22%
$100 - 14%
$65 - 12%
