As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Just opened mine. A complete dud. Triwa Kilnga in the $100 tier. There are so many watches on the list I would have been happy with. This ain't one. I'm 100% open to trades lol

Completely agree...its false representation, and just a dick move IMO. Will have to see how they respond.

Roughly 30% of all watches reported received. Someone just got the Speake-Marin Spirit Automatic. The list updated here: viewtopic.php?p=16509#p16509

Still waiting to see what mine is...MyUS is taking their time getting it to the carrier for re-shipping.

Are you sure about item 1? Reading through the comments I see someone complaining that he got a ladies watch. The watch in question is a Spinnaker Bernard, 40mm, 13mm thick. Maybe dude was hoping for a U-Boat because 40mm is not a ladies-sized watch. And it was on the list. There are tons of posts so maybe there are genuine instances of ladies watches, but the Bernard is certainly not one of them.

Also, here are some pics of the Pan Europ. I like it and plan on keeping it. The whole "Mystery Box" origin adds conversational value.

Nice looking watch! Yeah, I read through the Bernard discussion as well...that was not one of the ladies watches. There was one small Victorinox and one other that were confirmed as ladies models. Here is the Vicki: https://www.jomashop.com/victorinox-lad ... 41556.html

OK, I see a 38mm Victorinox Divemaster 500 that apparently was a mistake. Even that watch is 38mm, pretty big for most ladies. It seems MassDrop acknowledged the error and offered a refund.

Some people think anything under 40mm is a ladies watch.

I think the point is that regardless of one’s personal views on size, the watch 1) was not on the list, and 2) is indeed a ladies’ model. Here it is:

Yes, MD has been receptive in acknowledging the mistakes and accepting refunds. There are also at least two others who received models not on the list, but they considered them to be upgrades and are keeping them. In both cases these fulfillment issues appear to be limited to Victorinox models.

-----------

Just a quick search on Google shows that some stores call it a woman's watch, while others call it a man's.

OK...so perhaps its a unisex watch that was not on the list for the drop. Regardless of gender, it seems that MD is taking appropriate action to accept returns for those who are dissatisfied.

Mine finally came...

For $140.99 ($99.99 + $14 re-ship + $27 zoll), I would say this was not a deal. I can buy the same model here locally for less. But, oh well...I am not a huge gambler, so did not expect much.

That's disappointing, but at least it looks nice?

And Dunkin' Donuts changed their name to just Dunkin'.

I guess someone should trademark "Donut Mass" or "Mass Donut."
