Pay it Forward

That is an interesting bezel insert design. Not sure what the thinking was there. Thank you @wolfsatz for waiting a day before claiming this. It seems like a good practice to give others a chance if you have already claimed something recently. I don’t think we need a rule about that sort of thing, but you set a good example for others to follow in this thread.

Anyway, I am thrilled that this post is gaining traction. I will post MOT’s Vostok early next week, and I look forward to seeing that on a new wrist.

The black Skagen Chrono and LP moon phase are still available. If there are no takers here, I will post them to WUS in that PIF thread. If you aren’t tracking that one, it is worth a peek since some really cool stuff has popped up there.

I put this on the Public Forum on WUS and then recreated it at the AFfordables but did not stick. So posting here as there has been no takers.

With the concept in mind that some of the F71 crowd may not view other forums threads outside of F71; I am duplicating RobMCs idea

I'm reducing my inventory as I've run out of room, and gone in a different direction with my watches. Therefore here are a load of watches that I want to rehome. I'm UK based so UK/Europe is easiest. Anywhere else and I'll need a bit of help with P&P please.

If you're interested in a few items, and you've something you want to swap, let me know. If not, and you want an item, please try and pay something forward too.

Sekonda Chrono - Barely worn. Needs a new battery. In box with paperwork.

Invicta Pro Diver - worn infrequently. Loads of life left in it. Good condition. Runs as expected for an NH35.

Timex Expedition - great beater. Would benefit from a strap. Just needs a battery.

Police large display LCD (with good backlight) - Scratched crystal, all good otherwise - I upgraded to a stainless G-Shock

Mens stainless DKNY dress watch - Needs a battery.

A pair of Sekonda (1970s I think) manual wind watches - one has dodgy dial, one has dodgy movement, the other winds, runs and keeps time. A bit of swapping and you'd get a good full working watch with one for spares.

A pair of Sekonda (1970s I think) Automatic watches - one has dodgy movement, the other winds, runs and keeps time. A bit of swapping and you'd get a good full working watch with one for spares.

A lovely little mens Timex automatic. Great condition for age. Winds, runs and keeps time.

A pair of Boccia quartz Titanium ladies watches. Both need batteries. I can't vouch for them both being 100% working.

Thank you Animal Mother for a very generous PIF post. This is a great way to thin down a collection. I am not doing so well with that, but I will get there.

Look what is on my wrist. I made a mistake and thought that this has a unidirectional diver's bezel. The bezel is static, so .. that goes modding for what I have in mind.

This is one strange watch. Not sure what to make of it. Well built with SS case and the dial is quite interesting and at the same time odd. Not sure if there is an actual meaning to the last 25 min on the bezel going from 12 hour markers to 5 min increments.

I put this on the timex rubber strap that came with the Three for the Orange Highlights.

Thank you Pachuco!

That is too bad. I should have realized it didn’t rotate because the numbers flip at 4-8 vs a rotating bezel that doesn’t do that.
