Those are my thoughts. I know it is German, but it appears very similar to the British W-10 without the triangle at 12. Very legible field watch.

When you first posted the movement pick, I guessed that it might be a W10 based on it possibly being for the challenge and the case shape. The German movement threw me off, but it makes sense now.
