I am relatively new to watches compared to most of the people here so I have to ask: Which watch is that?
Something funny. Earlier I was going to post a lume shot of the watch I was wearing so I went into the closet with all the lights out and then NOTHING. The watch I was wearing does not have lume! LOL.

Haha! Reminds me of all the times I've given a quartz watch a little shake to get it going and crank up that power reserve!

How about this one? I might win for worst lume! This is after a significant charge. Only the hour markers have lume. Yes, the hour markers and not the hands. Still a lovely watch from 1981 with a beautiful inscription, and original stamped papers. ImageImageImageImage

Thanks Valen. 1963 Sea King, “C” variant

I feel like I really just lucked into it; I’m not a vintage collector but I’m ALL about this one, so that may change. Should have a cognac croc strap for it soon.

Best thing about these and similar is that they aren’t particularly collectible or special, but sure are fun and well made. I won’t go chasing marquee watches “because I should.” It’s gotta appeal on some other level if possible.
