I took it just moments before the next one in my post... it wasn't a good lens for closeup shots though, so no Sdelka in frame ;)

Since I received Sdelka in mid October she became my only watch and pretty much didn't leave my wrist. I wasn’t quite expecting this, but due to some circumstances at work I was able to take her outside of my town and travel a little bit. She proved to be a reliable companion and quite comfortable to wear too.

We start off in the very heart of Warsaw, at the (in)famous Patelnia crossing (literally Frying Pan). It’s a major point in the city, where subway lines, bus stops and train stations meet, which makes it always a busy place. Maybe not so busy on the picture, just trust me it gets worse in the afternoon. In the summertime, because of the location (slightly below street level) and number of people, it can get really hot here - hence the name Frying Pan.

Just a few minutes away is the Palace of Culture and Science, built in mid 50s as a gift to Polish nation from the friendly communist regime of Soviet Russia. A gift, which obviously means we had to build it and pay for it by ourselves. It’s still the tallest building in Poland and today it serves as a multi museums-cinemas-theaters-exhibitions-art galleries-trade shows center.

Here it is how it looks inside, one of the many huge rooms. All finished in marble and wood.

A fountain in front of it.

This is what you might call “the modern downtown”, with some tall(ish) skyscrapers, office buildings and so on.

Time to move a little. Cold foggy morning and hopping on a train to Cracow, probably the most popular city among foreign tourists.

Quick lunch before work.

And after that, a short walk through the Old Town and Market Square. Unfortunately I didn’t have much time to walk around.

Back in Warsaw, walking through another part of town. This place is called the Warsaw Uprising Square.

This is the Prudential building, from the early 30s, one of the very few that somewhat survived the war, although severely damaged (see photo). Today it’s a luxury hotel.

One of the weekends. Nice warm day, great for a walk in the park.

Old chocolate factory in the background, still operational.

Warsaw Moto Show, a big annual car expo. I had a job assignment there and took a moment to check out Jaguar offerings and fell in love with that vivid orange.

Just last week I was traveling for work again, this time far south, to Sudetes mountain range. Super busy as usual, so not too many pics. Managed to capture some autumn colors.

Back home. My kitty was curious to see if this thing is edible.

And final shot with her bigger brother, Steve Z.

That’s all folks! Thanks for making this happen, was a fun adventure. Sdelka says she’s ready to go back to her American homeland! I’ll message Wolfsatz and arrange the shipping.
Excellent! You absolutely nailed it. Great pictures and stories behind them. Thanks for giving Sdelka such and awesome tour, She appreciates your hospitality. Again, really well done bud.

Fantastic photos...looks like Sdelka and you had quite a few adventures. The cat is my favorite.

Sit Rep 1 - 2300 Zulu

To: CENTRAL COMMAND
From: Wolf Trap Training Camp
Subject: Situational Report

Recruit Sdelka reported to training camp last evening just in time for Chow... served a delicious dinner comprised of the famous Chief's vegetable soup and tweaked Won Tons.

Sdelka reported to training HQs for a fitness eval and the ordinary liability paperwork.

Sdelka's evaluation also included the basic classification skill set prep. Passed with flying colors on 3 out of 5 with the Greek experience; will have to give a stronger effort with the Yucateco and Chiltepin drills. Did not have the stomach for dessert.

After the morning drills.. Sdelka was given a VIP tour on the F22 Falcon with LT Chewie and Seaman Wannaberacer on the Samba Cruiser

Back at Camp Sdelka was given her first Recon MIssion: Operation Walking Fika

Drill included target reconnaissance and evac routes

Last objective: Dress Code. Proper Mil Grade Field Uniform was fitted, issued and tried on. Spot ON! Got the jitters when facing the competition but attempted to save her Swiss counterpart by administering TPR (TickPowerResusitation) Swiss mate had to be sent to Sick Bay.

On personal time, Sdelka had a brief encounter with one of the fiercest Drill Instructors that was not happy with the LAX Bondish Attitude. Better watch out Sdelka!!!

Recruit starts with a Deficit of 10% points as Recruit failed to report with the necessary culinary samples from previous command as requested by Base Commanding Officer. :|

That tracking number was worthless lol, it still shows me that she's in Poland. I'm glad she made it safe though, keep it up (also I'm kinda jealous of all these delicious bottles of hot sauce)!
