As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

Jack's selling his Rolex in support of one of his charities. Does this watch command similar value to Newman's? Jack may not be as "cool" as Cool Hand Luke, but many golf guys got the bank and this watch has been photographed in 12/18 of Jack's major tournament win photos. It's gotta be worth some major coinage!

I actually loled when the golf digest article said a "similar" Rolex of Newman's sold for $17 mil. No way it'll be worth close to Newman's Daytona. It's "just" an 1803 and it's not as much a piece of horological significance.
I think it'll still be worth something relatively huge but I'd put the o/u at like $1 million.
