I have to admit that I came home at lunch to help my wife keep our son occupied while she tried to work, and I ended up changing watches. This thing calls to me! Here is a stretch single pass from the CNS sale. I was frustrated last night because it looks great but it would not tuck. I pushed and pushed, even giving up a few times wondering if it came with the wrong sized hardware. Don’t know what changed but here we are!

With that in mind, I’m beverage compliant with bourbon and the Ventus to take the edge off. Hope everyone in the Legion is hanging in there.

Excellent choice on the bourbon, bought a bottle for the father in law. Pretty high proof if I remember correctly, but lots of flavor.

Oh yeah, nice watch too!

Excellent! There is just something about Vostoks man. They have that it factor. Every time I wear one, I can't help but be staggered by how affordable they are. And they are effing tanks!!!

If there is any upside to me still going to the office every day, it is that I appreciate Saturday at home with the family even more.

This Seiko Saturday is from HUISAB on a Christmas gift president bracelet.

And I may have been watch shopping last night after I finished that Jameson a few posts up :D

Hope everyone has a safe weekend!

If someone emails me back and we can talk then hopefully I have bought something. I have two irons in the fire right now and it's questionable if I should even have one :? .

Stretching the definition of compliance on Seiko Saturday with this representative of a tiny little corner of the Seiko Epson empire.

My youngest brother is getting ready to start working for a comms company where the position is funded by Epson and my first question is whether he can get deep discounts/access to LE’s. I also congratulated him at some point...

It was a great deal to me VFM and my first brass. Obviously, wish it were bronze for the different hue and patina, but man this watch keeps me coming back for more.

The Ventus Mori was one of the first micro brand offerings I learned of and I had just missed the preorder, so when I saw this come up I had to get on board.

Seiko-powered compliance on the lake today. Definitely getting my day-drinking on too. Couple of west coast style IPA’s and the local German beer joint Helles.
