Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
Happy Thanksgiving to the whole damn Legion!
My turkey day was a bit different than normal. I made it back to PA but my bros and sis were all doing there own thing this year so I didn't get to see them. And I live about 4 hours from my parents. But I drove about two hours and so did the old folks.....to meet up in the middle at a Pennsyltucky state park. Seiko doesn't make a so I wore my .
First time I've ever done Thanksgiving outside. A bit gloomy and cold but them's the breaks. Found a pavilion by the lake to set up shop.
Shhhh........the turtle in its natural environment....
Did you know they still made Killian's? Apparently my Pops did bc he brought a few. Beverage compliance for the Legion was clearly more important than gub'mint regumuhlations.
Much was gobbled and a good time was had by all. Hope yinz have a great holiday weekend!

Loving all the thanksgiving posts Legion! It's been a weird year all around, but nice to see everyone making the best of it! I especially like the homie @yinzburgher breaking the rules for the betterment of the legion. So proud[emoji23] Too drunk to recall how compliant I was. Used the OKEAN to time mashed potatoes, but no pics. All I have are bad pics of a great watch, but here we go.

This post is 10/10...plus Killian's was the hotness when I was in college for a period. Maybe that is just my recollection and it was "all beer was the hotness!"yinzburgher wrote: βThu Nov 26, 2020 10:50 pm Happy Thanksgiving to the whole damn Legion!

Happy post Turkey Day, Legion. Hope everyone had a good one and is still relaxing. Field watch Friday compliance. I'm thinking I got a couple watch changes today.
Edit for afternoon switch. Brought out my inner child this week with a Lego Saturn V build. My son helped and was really good at it. I found a case online and this is going to go in my office. Switched to the Speedy to finish it.

That is awesome. My son and I visited the Saturn V at the Johnson Space Center in Houston -- they have it in a l-o-n-g building. It was the coolest thing, and one of those things that photos can't capture. Funny thing was to check out all the watches the guys on the tour were wearing. I'm not a space fanboy or anything, but it blew me away.Stretch44 wrote: βFri Nov 27, 2020 11:38 am Happy post Turkey Day, Legion. Hope everyone had a good one and is still relaxing. Not compliant, but somewhat beverage compliant. Well at least my better half is very beverage compliant. Doing what all the tourists used to come here to do and went to a wine tasting. It was a struggle hearing cars go around Sears Point across the street, and really wanting to be there. But realized even that is not quite as fun as having a fun afternoon with Mrs. Dub Rubb and her friend. But I did enjoy getting to hear rev matched downshifts while still being classy. I'll never forget the day my dad and I went to NASCAR, drank Bud light and ate deep fried Oreos, then went across the street for a 3 course meal and wine pairing[emoji23]

So jealous right now. That is such a dope Lego project. And the speedy to match? Straight [emoji91]. Wernher Von Braun himself would be proud! Love this post so much bud.Stretch44 wrote:Happy post Turkey Day, Legion. Hope everyone had a good one and is still relaxing. Field watch Friday compliance.
