I am diving into the week with @Sussa. Had picked up the new Seiko this morning but had on a black shirt. I know that it doesn’t matter but I thought a black watch would look better than the blue dial. I’m a sick man

Magic Monday or basically New watch Monday with a new addition. Shocker, it's a Seiko!!! Was planning on using it as a mod base, but didn't realize how big the dial was. The watch itself is quite awesome, but a little big for me. It will most likely end up as a gift to my father in law. This case shape and dial are really something though.

Started the day with Tool watch compliance. Switched up the ML Rainbow I got from James at REJ when I was trying to buy the trilogy from him. It's actually my wife's. The strap reminds me of Marty's hat in Back to the Future II. Ending the evening with the Railmaster and no compliance.

Vintage Vednesday.

From what I've found, this was a very popular model in China and other East Asia countries in the '70s. It uses the ETA 2750, which was the movement used in Benrus, Hamilton, CWC, and other military-issued watches of the era.

19mm lugs, but I squeezed on a 20mm.

I was gonna ask what movement.
I have 3 Nivadas (all the same model) and an old Titoni that also have that movement. I dig that case style!

Here's my Wintage Wednesday watch. Late 50s EternaMatic KonTiki. This is the 1st KonTiki I purchased. It was running exceedingly fast when I got it, demagnetization be damned. I liked this case so much I know have 5 KonTikis in my collection...

Just got it back from a watchmaker. I sent it to David Hornstein in NY, NY. He came recommended by Holben Fine Watches, whom I asked because they were also in the Pacific Northwest, like me.

It was a widely used movement. Something like 6,156,000 were produced during its 1969-1982 lifespan.

Various places. Ranfft Watches (http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db. ... ft&2&2uswk), anecdotal stories from owners, Google searches, other watch sites, etc.

Wildcard Wednesday with the Brolex GMT. This one usually sees wrist time on days ending in 6 or 9 due to the open 6s and 9s.
