Loving the smoothed out crown guards more and more. Did you do it with a hand file? Either way, it looks sharp and you have motivated me to try something with them on my next build.

I did use a hand file and boy was it a big ol B****!
But I'm really happy with it so I guess it was worth it!
Tool Watch Tuesday on the road. Had a late lunch with some beverage compliance, and picked up a couple brews at the store before checking into the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with what they had!

Oh nice! Working west coast??

I'm always working west coast. My job is pretty much only required in Ca right now. So mostly close to home, but occasionally(5-6 times a year) I have to go up and down the state for some big jobs. I am only 2 hours away from home right now, but would rather put in 10-12 hour days and stay in a hotel for 2-3 days than drive back and forth for a week.
Bonus shot for the legion. I brought the SARB065 with me as well and this dial just picks up light sources like nothing else. I still absolutely LOVE this watch.

I'm a non snobby beer nerd. Years ago I would travel all over hunting down "whales" and spending hundreds trading and shipping beer across the country.
Now I blow my money on watches instead haha.
Russian River does make some good pizza at their place too!
Today for NATO Thursday! Really loving this recent mod

That NATO really completes the look. Great work! Now what's up next? I can sense that the bug has bitten you and you are already planning your next mod!
I will say that Pliny the Elder is a beer that any beer lover really needs to try. I don’t even like hop forward beers, but this thing is so well balanced. It has a well deserved reputation and is a reason I should go and visit my family in California.
Makes me thirsty just thinking about it. Unrelated, I once scored a bottle of Sexual Chocolate Stout because I happened to be in the right area for work on release day.
This thread has me dusting off an oldie but goodie yet again as this is about the only watch I have on a nato at the moment.
And to keep the beer discussion going, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit breweries all over the country and I believe Russian River is about the best all-around brew house in America. Pliny’s a fine beer but it overshadows the many other great beers they make. Consecration is quite possibly the best I’ve ever had so I make it a point to mule a few bottles back home every time I visit.

I know, Pliny gets all the hype, but their other offerings are soooo good! I am fortunate enough to live about 30 minutes away, so getting my fix isn't hard. There's another brewery called Henhouse that is absolutely KILLING it as well. Not to mention all of the smaller breweries around here. Wine country? Nah, this is BEER country!!!

Ohhh loving this dial!!
And to answer your question about my next mod, I really don't have plans other than maybe a bezel swap on my already modded Seiko!
Although seeing that new BSH dial that will be produced really has me itching to sign up for one!
