So I shared this on WUS, but am still stoked about yesterday, and figured the legion would appreciate as well.

I had quite an epic day yesterday. So much so that I plan on breaking it up into a few parts. And it is pic heavy. Sorry for the long set of posts, but I think you will agree it was worth it. Here goes:

Part 1: my dad offered to take the wife and I, as well as her parents and sister to an SF giants game on his sailboat. Meaning we sail over, dock at the park, have a BBQ and watch the ballgame. Great plan. I wear my Red Sox gear, but throw on the SKX011 mod to show some support for the wife's Giants. Here are some pics of the trip to the park. Stayed tuned for part 2!ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Part 2: So I notice immediately that my dad is rocking his SKX009 on the watchgecko leather strap with red/blue stitching. Also, he is wearing a giants hat. After we dock and both of us decide to take an impromptu swim in the bay(so cold and refreshing!), I suggest we switch watches since mine matches his attire and vice versa, to which he agrees. No signed crown compliance, but an excessive amount of beverage compliance. Plus carnivore compliance that wasn't captured in pics.

Part 3: So somehow we were lucky enough to end up in the Coors Light Lucky Fan row. They came over at the start of the game and told us we won a prize and were gonna be on the jumbo tron. Cool, but what is this prize???

Turns out the prize was a YETI cooler for everyone in the row!!!! We were/are so psyched walking out of the park with a YETI for everyone!! It felt like an Oprah show. YOU get a YETI, YOU get a YETI and yes, YOU get a YETI!!

Such a fun day, and the only downside was me not remembering sunblock. Oh well, free YETI, great watches, lots of beer and food, and most importantly, great people to share the experience with. One of those days that really made me reflect just how lucky I am. Not because of the YETI, because of how great my in laws and my own family get along and how lucky I am to have such great family on both sides.

Sorry for the crazy long post, but it felt like a day worth sharing. ImageImageImage

Wow...all of this is awesome! And the Giants won 9-3. Living a charmed life, my friend.

Gonna switch it up but I've got partial day compliance here with the Timex Ironman. I would encourage any G-Shock fans to give one of these a try some time. Super legible and it feels absolutely bomb-proof.

Vintage compliant with my 6139. First time out of the box in a long while, I'm thinking about selling it as it gets almost no wrist time.Image

Dibs if you decide to sell! I have a feeling that wearing it around today may change your mind though.
