I'm kind of a connoisseur of cheap (but tasty) beer. This one definitely fits both of those qualities. Check out that ABV, too. (6.2% if you can't make it out.)

Trader Joe's right? I think I've seen these before. That is quite the high ABV for a lager! I know that they even sell a DIPA at like 8% for $5 a sixer. I miss having a TJs in my town [emoji29].

More importantly, how is it? I am rarely disappointed by anything there, but just couldn't imagine that a sub $4 sixer could be any good. Cheers to hoping I am wrong.

$3.99 for a six-pack in my town. They had all the TJ varieties, including a chocolate stout I want to try next.

Lager is by far my favorite style, so I am a bit biased, but I can honestly say if it was put in a blind taste-test line up with some craft lagers (including a local one that costs almost 3x as much) it would place very well.

Pretty crispy, pretty malty and there is a bit of an alcohol hit but it goes down very easy. On a hot summer day, a guy could get in trouble quickly with these.

Wednesday with what is probably my favourite case of all time, a 1971 King Seiko 45-7001
The movement is pretty neat too, apart from the seconds hand super smooth glide, it sounds like a tiny gatling gun.Image

Vostok Vednesday compliance, mostly. Poljot (Vostok's cousin) mechanical alarm. I think it's been at least a year since I wore this. The time is wound and set via the top crown and the alarm is wound and set via the bottom crown.

Not compliant today. Wore this in support of all the first responders and people and families of those people who lost their lives on this date. A dark day in our history brightened up a little with some red white and blue.

It's a shame there are no affordable USA brands anymore. Might need to buy a vintage Hamilton. Also, beverage compliance!

Compliant for NATO strap Thursday with a CNS Scales on the venerable Casio Duro. Since the high in Columbia today is 97, I feel like I can still get away with wearing this summery strap.

I really should pick one of these up. Such a great watch. Now that the SKX is officially discontinued, I feel that maybe they shouldn't be my beater watches. The Duro is the absolute perfect watch for that role and it looks so good!

That Spinnaker is a real looker. I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet, but man, they make some great watches at their price point. They look to punch WAY above what you pay for them.

My man. I love literally everything about that pic. I don't drink c ocktails, but when I do, it's an old fashioned. Bulleit is my go to for a non special occasion bourbon. I like my bourbans and tequilas to be just luck watch deals. Great product at even better prices.

Love that tealish lume dial too, that thing is a real winner!

Not compliant today. Trying to wear my smaller watches right now to ease my way into a 36mm case for an upcoming gilt relief dial mod project. Going from a turtle to a 36mm explorer case would be tough. Hopefully some 38-39mm watches will make the transition easier.

I am looking very forward to a couple watches coming my way. I have something that will be always compliant thanks to buying from the HUISABH thread, a new watch that will work on Tuesdays and something special for Thursday! Stay tuned.
