As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

What music are you listening to?

We used to play this on the way home during bus trips even though we lived nowhere near Brooklyn.

I was also a Beastie Boys fan and have this tape somewhere. Ah, the good old days.

I had planned on the picture below being my first tape of my own (I was young!). My mother went to the record store at the mall and she claimed that the guy at the counter told her that the Stay Cats were a little mature for someone little split-times age. So she came back with Men Without Hats “Business as usual.” I think I talked my grandmother into buying this for me, and I don’t know how as she lived about four hours away  .

One of the best songs ever.

My favorite one is "Girls"

And of course no party was complete without Brass Monkey.

Because you gotta put your left leg down, your right leg up, tilt your head back let's finish the cup.

Men without hats is a pretty good album if I recall. I had that album many years ago as a young kid as well.

Another group that sounds just as good live as they did in a recording studio.

Classic IV "Spooky"

Still a great song.

Steppenwolf still rocks.

Magic Carpet Ride

American Woman

The Doors. I could listen to them for an eternity.

This reminds me of "The Lost Boys" movie. Yes, I'm a kid of the 80's. ;)

Anytime I think of The Doors, this Kids In The Hall sketch pops in my head.
