Wonder Woman 1984 (Because it's a good version of Wonder Woman and it's the best decade ever)
...
Yep, 80s was the best ever! I wish I was older then to enjoy it to the fullest.
Going to see Parasite, the Black and White version, this week. Will report back.
There's a B&W version of Parasite?
Oooooooooooo

See,I'm not a fan of black and white movies from the modern era unless you are speaking of "Dead Men Don't wear Plaid" from 1982. Or if the movie was made in the 30's, 40's, 50's or the 60's.
I don't want a movie to make me think. I get enough of that in real life.
Drama's, to quote Austin Powers, "Are not my bag Baby.".

The B&W version of Mad Max Fury Road is worth a watch.

Richard Jewell, last week. Very, very good film and entertaining. Clint Eastwood is still making very good movies at almost 90 years old. Very good interpretation of Kathy Bates, and of the leading actor (who was unknown to me).

It was on my list to watch at the cinema but I waited too long. Sam Rockwell is one of my favourite actors. The guy who played the title character is Paul Walter Hauser (I had to look up! ).
I went to see Parasite, the Black and White Version, last night. I liked it, but to be honest, I wasn't awestruck by it. Perhaps my expectation was too high given all its recent accolades. Maybe I need more time to digest it. I have not seen the original/colour version but the B&W treatment does lend it a sense of surrealness.
TheJohnP - you oooooooo'ed when I mentioned the B&W version. Have you seen the film? The trailer for the Mad Max Black and Chrome version looks really good. Too bad I missed it when it was shown at the cinemas.

I have seen the regular version of Parasite and liked it quite a bit.
The kind of movie that sticks with you and stays in your head days after.
So will have to check out the B&W version, because it is a see again kind of movie.

Until today I didn't know Paddington movies existed. Just finished the first. I'd forgotten how much I loved that bear.

No Young Frankenstein?
No Chaplin? Keystone Cops? Buster Keaton?
Theda Bara? Lillian Gish? Clara Bow?
Fritz Lang? Cecil DeMille? Erich von Stroheim? Rudolph Valentino?
Steamboat Willie?

Just watched the Joker. Plenty disturbing......moreso than I thought it would be. It's difficult to say I really "enjoyed" it. Maybe a bit. "Appreciated" it might be a better way to say it. It certainly had the intended effect. Anyway, my next movie will involve more sunshine, unicorns, and rainbows. I found a poo emoji too so I'm throwing that in there as well.

Little Miss Sunshine?
The poo emoji is almost always appropriate when talking about anything to do with life.

Truth.
I'm up to my nipples in poo emojis over the last year.
