Took my 14 yr old son to see "1917". It was very good. The audience was very quiet through the whole movie unlike most movies where everyone is talking and checking their phones. The entire movie was shot in "One Scene" using one camera. There were no cuts that could obviously be seen. It was a very different movie experience than your typical movie.

I'm not a big Jared Leto fan but I am curious to see how Morbius turns out.

Saw Parasite this weekend and liked it a lot. One of those movies you keep thinking about days after.
Best if you don't know too much about it going in.

Definitely see why it has been receiving so many accolades.

I like my movies with action and not much thinking that is required of me.

That said, Gemini Man with Will Smith was pretty good for an Action Flick.

Saw Le Mans '66 (or as some of you will call it 'Ford v. Ferrari ') with the Mrs.
She loved it despite not being into anything of the petrol head persuasion.

It has such a great human story to it, beautifully scripted and portrayed that the scenes where you are going 220mph down the Mulsanne Strait, trying to stamp on the brake pedal in your theatre seat, are a bonus. Great cast.

I told the wife that on Saturday I plan on surviving on popcorn, Junior Mints (for you Seinfeld fans) and oversized drinks from the Concession Counter. I've bought tickets for Bad Boys for Life and The Gentlemen. I like the Bad Boys movies and I am a fan of Guy Ritchie's movies.

Bad Boys for life was a good action flick. Lots of laughs and decent action.

The Gentlemen was decent. Lots of twists and turns.

I will warn you:

If you take your Lady friend/Wife/Girlfriend you better hope she is not offended by the F word (spelled with a PH) because there is lots of that one. And there is a lot of the C word thrown around. IF your Lady already cusses like a Sailor, you'll be fine. If not, expect to get a stern talking to by her as you leave the theater.

As I left the movie I heard more than one guy getting berated by his Wife/Girlfriend that they didn't like the use of those words. It didn't bother me but I'm not easily offended by language.

This was a train wreck of a movie. Let me save you some money. Don't bother to go see it.

I knew it was going to be bad but just not as bad as they made it. Heck, the CW Network makes better Hero/Villain shows than this movie. And the CW at least makes an effort on costumes.

Once it is goes to RedBox in three months (or less) and you can rent it for less than $2 bucks, maybe then, it'll be worth it.

Is it Batman v Superman bad or Justice League bad?

To me it's bad due to the actors being all wrong for their parts. The costumes (except Harley) are all wrong. To much exposition. Not that it matters to me but it has more cuss words (I knew that going in) than a Robert DeNiro Gangster movie. Way too much exposition .

I was never a big comic book reader growing up. But if you are going to make a live action movie of comic characters you should not change the look nor race of a character. And the Huntress actor is awful, can't act and her costume looks like she is wearing black plastic trash bags.

To put it another way as to how bad the movie is:

I've watched horrible C grade movies on Amazon Prime that had better acting. And where in the heck did they dig up Rosie Perez?

When leaving a Theater, even after BvS and Justice League, I never said, "That was a horrible movie.". But I did today. In my opinion, BvS and Justice League were better than this one.

Even my 14 year son old thought this one was bad.

I suppose I've been spoiled by Marvel over the years as to how a Comic movie should be done.

Not a Movie, but a Netflix special...

Wife and I laughed our asses off at this one. A much needed reminder that we're not losing some rat race and failing at life.

Trying to get into Avenue 5, but pretty much hating it so far. Not as funny as I thought it would be.

I had no idea that I went to the movies as much as I did. I just finished going over a list of movies that my kids and I plan to watch for the rest of 2020. Well that'll be several hundreds of dollars in movie tickets and popcorn.

James Bond (Because it's Bond and I've got to finish out the Craig eries)
Black Widow (Because women assassin's are cool)
Scoob (Big Scooby Doo fan but this one is mostly for my 10 yr old daughter who loves Scooby as well)
Fast and Furious 9 (Yes, I've watched from the beginning so I might as well finish out the series, lol)
Wonder Woman 1984 (Because it's a good version of Wonder Woman and it's the best decade ever)
Top Gun (Long time coming for a sequel)
Ghost Busters (also long time coming for a proper sequel)
Morbius (Vampire antihero is cool)
Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (Because the first one was funny, action packed, and very good entertainment)
King's Man (It'll be full of action--I hope)
GI. Joe: Snake Eyes (You've got to have a love for bad movies too)
Godzilla V Kong (My teenage son wants to see it)
Uncharted (My teenage son wants to see a video game movie)
The Tomorrow War (I'm still not sure about this one)

Well that'll be several hundreds of dollars in movie tickets and popcorn.
