I have been going over my old battery/charger (and cable) collection. rechargeable
My old standby rechargeable AA is the Eneloop Ni-MH. But then I saw these clever rechargeable Li-Ion AAs -- you charge them via micro USB. Wirecutter doesn't have any research on the question, yet, so I thought to ask what experiences anybody has had with Li-Ion AAs in general and whether anybody has a brand they can recommend.
Confession: most of my USB chargers are USB-A and arrived as part of some product bundle. Squinting at the numbers they are all 1A -- one was even lower. I have one Apple 2A charger, and I don't know where it came from, lol. Wirecutter had some good recommendations so I have an upgrade en route.
As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
